Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Communication between director and composer is the essence of any above-standard film. This short module aims to establish the communication and define the methods and language of it.

The best possible result might be a joint project.

Experience with a soundtrack.

Course contents:

- Examples of various film music

- Case studies of Zbyněk Matějů´s own work

- Samples of the best Czech film music composers

- Discussion between FAMU directors and HAMU composers (aimed towards FAMU directors films).

HAMU students of composition are joining!
