Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Jakub Larva a.k.a. Aeldryn represents the Lunchmeat creations, label which is marked by a balanced fusion of digital and analog technology.

He josins them using his own equipment. This combines binary code and corny camera recordings and creates an sharp effective video which, for example, joins actors and stages during performances of Mlčenlivá, Bouře nebo Pustina v klubu Cross. Aeldryn is able, in his works, to animate building facades (projects, Ozivte si barak, A2) or ad visual dimensions to concerts such as Mount Kimbie, Dub FX or Glitch Mob.

Course contents:

A Workshop on Live Video on the Resolume platform with Jakub Aeldryn from Vj group Lunchmeat. Artists of the Lunchmeat unit are involved primarily in original uses for projections. Their collections range from graphic design and photography, video works and animation to set and interior design.

Workshop participants must have at least a demo version of Resolume Arena IV installed on a computer.

Workshop instructor is Jakub Larva (VJ Aeldryn), a long-time member of the Lunchmeat audio-visual studio. His works play on the borders between analog and digital technology. He works with real movement, feedback, live animation and digital progressions.
