Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Expansion of basic grammar and lexical knowledge.

Ability to communicate in simple practical situations

Basic professional vocabulary in the study

Mode of study:

Readings and text analysis, listenings, presentation and practice of grammar and lexical structures, moderated discussions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Lower level (A2) English knowledge is required.

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

Development of language skills: Reading comprehension of simple texts in the study subject

Grammar: irregular verbs, possessives, simple negatives in English sentences, creation of adjectives and adverbs, future tense, phrase GOING TO, prepositional phrases.

Study subject terminology.
