Consolidating phonetic, grammar and vocabulary basics of the French language.

Ability to react in simple everyday situations.

Mode of study:

Readings, listenings, practice of phonetics, vocabulary and grammar structures.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

This course is intended for students who have studied French in the 702SFA11 or 702FA12 courses.

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

Practice in listening and phonetics. Practice and consolidation of learned grammar in simple forms.

Considering the difficult nature of French pronunciation, the students who have not previously studied French, are recommended to attend the 702SFA11 and 702SFA12 courses with this course in the Winter and Summer semesters.
