Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is a studz of the fundamental Czech and World opera repertoire at the piano, management of interpretation and conducting issues (analysis of opera as a form music-drama, working with voices, instrumentation and chor settings, style, tempo, etc.).

Course contents:

Study of selected opera works from the 18th to 20th centuries and their conducting from the piano.
