Manner of creating an instruction lesson: Students learn the most effective manner of creating a class. First they go through the study year's repertoire for which they are to create the lesson.Students choose from the dances, dance phrases and their variations which are used for working on limberness and possibly for adjustments for the given year's needs. From the step phrases are then selected individual steps which are necessary for the students to learn separately. For individual steps shor or longer phrases are created for practice at the barre and for limberness.
Diverse lessons for various types of dance schools: Students create model instruction lessons and adjust their content for various types of dance schools. Each dance school has it own level and other requirements. First, the most simple lessons are created and later more complex and tehcnically challenging. The students are acquainted with the curriculum for Dance Conservatories and Arts Elementary Schools. The curricula are compared, looking for common and differing requirements which are place on the pupils of those schools. A lot of material is appropriate but there are a lot of small details, particularly for dance conservatory pupils who need to brought to a professional level of dance. In a children's ensemble multi-facted working is needs and efforts towards professional execution is focus on only one dance region, which the ensemble is covering.
Working with literature and adjustment of dance material:
Students search for unusual and not often used dances from mnay various folklore regions. The dances are adjusted generally and particularly so they may be taught to any age category and later be given additional elements up to the mastery of the entire complex dance. Students learn to maintain, in adjustments, the basic structure of the dance in order to work with the given material in two directions - to simplify or make more difficult.
