The semester aim is to delve more deeply into the issues of creating a dance and its presentation in musical theatre.

Completion of Introduction to Dance Theory 1.
- Course contents:

Basic types of dance movement according to Theleur, Didelot, Cecchetti and the modern differentiation according to the Language of Dance Center method. Analysis of dance movement according to the Jooss-Leeder method. Expression quality of movement originating in these methods. Principles of the expression and significance achieved by the formation of dancers on the stage - formations for pairs and groups. Lanes of movement about stage and their creation of meaning.

- Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded based on participation in lectures and completion and presentations of tasks which will be assigned to students. An oral exam over the topics covered. The grading is comprised of: 20% participation in class hours, 40% quality of task presentation, 35% oral exam.
