A continuation of 171ZEA1 - expanding knowledge and view of the sound technology issues. Instruction is focused on practice. Part of the lectures is devoted to the basics use and working with DAW ProTools.

1. Studio signal level measurement (PPM, VU) and stereophonic correlation
2. Spectral characteristics of a sound signal and its measurement
3. Direction, frequency and noise characteristics of microphones
4. Microphone systems and principles for their use.
5. DAW ProTools (Section 1) - introduction to practice
6. DAW ProTools (Section 2) - Project edit window, editing, Audio Suite
7. DAW ProTools (Section 3) - Plug-in modules (effects), mix and data export
8. Conversion basics and archiving various sound signal formats
9. Mastering basics
10. Ergonomics of managing studio technology, work effectiveness
