Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Students learn the basic technique of Flamenco dance, cultivating their dancing. They are acquainted with the history of the development of that genre and potential use in acting.

Mode of study:

Instruction is study exercises using recorded dance samples - screenings.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

No requirements.

Course contents:

Flamenco dance instruction depends upon the cultivation of stage movement, supplementing and using knowledge acquired in other movement disciplines.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded based on activity in exercises and attendance (minimal 60%).
