Painting in an environment of counterpoint away from studio creations has the same study aim - object drawing and painting of a landscape. As well, this covers an approach to new artistic disciplines such as land-art, body-art, active painting, etc.
In sculpture this covers an expansion of artistic experience in free creation and primarily working with available materials / rocks, wood and local sources /.
The residency also deals with the team work and social adaptability of the student; reaction, improvisation skills using a local topic (ex: genius loci, etc.).
- Mode of study:

1. Introduction to the environment, history and social-cultural climate of the location
2. Introduction to the materials used with the current objective, it characteristics in trade techniques, needed skills.
3. One's own creation and on-going consultations. Group colloquium and consultations.
4. Result - exhibition, performance, digital recording.

- Course contents:

„Plain Air“ supplements instruction and school activity with new inspirational sources which may qualitatively broaden the spectrum of approaches to set-design projects. As well, this is a strengthening of the sense of continuity with new disciplines in the fine arts.
Creations (drawing, painting, sculpting, staging) in exterior landscapes as a counterpoint to studio work. Broadening artistic experience in free creation in authentic places.
