Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. To introduce students to production spaces and professional theatre practice.

2. To introduce students to types of stage technology, including examples of stage from the National Theatre.

3. To introduce students to the dramaturgical and repertoire plan in connection with production preparations, including the rehearsal process and production scenery.

4. To introduce students to fire protection and occupational safety and health protection in theatre operations.

Mode of study:

Lectures containing examples from excursions to theatre buildings - stage technology, production workshop.
