Students are acquainted with some aspects of the phenomenon marked as post-dramatic theatre through lectures devoted to partial issues of the composition and structure of important works placed in that theatre direction. These works are introduced to the students as independent study, screenings and analyses during lectures. The aim of the lecture series and analysis classes is to partially give students a bearing in the issues of „fashionable theatre of the post-modern“ which covers the contemporary theatre discourse and provides them, for reviewing pieces, the basic analytical tools allowing for a critical approach and permits the distinguishing of the artistically original from the conventional „alternative“ eclecticism. For students in creative studies, aside from inspiration, these lectures should benefit the awareness of a new definition and the responsibility of creative elements of a theatre piece, in particular, dramaturgy, directing and set design.
