The student learns more about the ativities of the National Film Archives as a heritage institution. The task is entrusted to the student by the general director, division director, and dept. head in which the work will take place. The student actively joins in group work which is focused on the overal support of Czech cinematography, from caring for the film heritage to promoting contemporary creations (Film Commission, Film Promotion).

Students attend work. Students that may observe other artists will have an advantage in the future if they watch carefully and adopt the systematic working process and manage its organizational pitfalls and ethical dimensions.
- Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Prior to registering for the course the NFA general director or division director is to be contacted and the work content is to be agreed upon. If the student is interested in working with film material, then prior work, clear interest, motivation and reliablity in that area must be proven.
- Course contents:

The student, upon agreement with the management of the National Film Archives, creates a work plan in an area or on a project in which they will participate in either group or individual NFA tasks

Readings and study materials will be specified in direct connection to the work to be performed.

Students receive credit based on submitted confirmation of work performed from the National Film Archives's director.
