Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the special programme of Industry Days is to help make better quality Czech audiovisual works, be it features, documentaries or TV films. The programme is conceived in such a way that the current questions of Czech as well as of international cinematography are open for exploration; at the same time, it offers a platform for solutions and opens discussion between participants.

This panel will discuss the change in the market where the trend is set by Netflix and Amazon. What can we expect from the entrance of internet broadcasters? How is the Czech environment going to change? In what terms do commercial TV channels think of their competitors?

Internet broadcasting is a very popular phenomenon with audiences. What can we expect from the genre of short episodes and how may its potential be manifested?
