Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Completion of a photo-screenplay in th style of a selected soviet director-planner and by this to adopt those composition procedures.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Basic knowledge of working with classic (analog) cameras.

Course contents:

The student creates a photocreenplay (approx. 15 - 25 photographs) in the style of one of the Russian masters of montage (Kulešov, Ejzenštejn, Pudovkin, Vertov aj.), accompanied by a brief explanation of the expressive devices used and a short citation of one of the artist's texts.
