Course description:
The final exhibition represents the long-term goal-oriented work of the student which should demonstrate skills acquired during the entire study. The final exhibition collection is the central part of the Summary exam, the object of the Summary and is judged by a commission of instructors as to whether it can be recognized as fulfilling the year's assignment.
Considering, that in the 5th year the Summary collection may be subsequently submitted for the master's exam the Summary exam is not evaluated separately. It is only judged as to fulfilling the assignment of the given year and thus passing the Summary exam closes out the study year.
If the exhibition collection is submitted, it is graded at the master's exam. The acceptance of the collection at the Summary exam does not supercede the evaluation in the master's exam in which it need not even be accepted!
The exhibition collection is understood as a collection of a minimum 8 photos which form a complete whole. The manner of design, dimensions, alignment are subject to the approval of the advising instructor.
