A reinforcement of the aesthetic perception of the film genre. Films are selected so they will have a relevant relationship to 20th century history and the present topics. Screenings are accompanied by the discussion with a guest - director of the film, artist or intellectual.

Screening of significant Czech or international films of the past and present, followed by a debate with a guest - either author (director, producer...) of the film or artist or intellectual. Screening gives an opportunity to open various topic within its context.

In the FAMU Library - information about writers, director memoirs, dictionaries, complete selection of creators' works.
- Assessment methods and criteria:

Students reflects one of the Guest Lectures. They focus not only on film presented but also on a discussion with the guest.
What is the relation between seen art piece and its reflection by its creator?
How important ? or not ? is to learn about the author´s intention?
The film´s review in the context of the films seen by student?
And many other points of view you may decide to go when writing the essay. Just please be reflective and don´t copy internet.
