Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Introduction to the phonetic, grammatic and lexical basics of the language.

Ability to react in simple everyday situations.

Mode of study:

Readings, listenings, presentation and practice of vocabulary and grammar structures, moderated discussions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Requirement: Lower level course knowledge.

Course contents:

Lessons 5-8 of the main coursebook.

Grammar: connecting preposition to definite articles, 3rd class verb conjugation in the present, numbers up to 30, ordinal numbers, possessive pronouns, personal pronouns, unstressed personal pronouns in the 4th case, modal verbs 'dovere, potere, sapere,' shortening dependent adverbial clauses.
