After a brief introduction on the relationship between legal, law and film making, Paolo will develop a series of issues and will be available to answer the many questions regarding the vast area of rights and limits of film and film production. A module on specific themes of film making legal problems, form rights acquisition to contract, from defence of copyright to legal liabilities while directing a film or writing, right of information, deontology, the „can do and cannot do's of film making“ the relationship between directors and crew, actors producer etc. the money issues...

Obsah kurzu:

A long awaited module of no minor importance: Paolo is a lawyer with experience in legal rights and negotiations as well as contract and rights management and acquisition. He will instruct students in the many (mostly mysterious) legal aspects of his profession answering the many specific questions that will arise.

Lecturer: Paolo Cecchi

Paolo Cecchi was born in La Spezia, Italy in 1966 and graduated in law at the University of Genoa (1991). He is a registered lawyer in the Bar association of Genoa with experience and specialization in media legal issues and rights. He has been representing many talents and actors and worked as consultant for various production companies and professionals.
