Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to manage issues in various procedures in studying Cantatas and Oratorios in practice. To display differences in studying vocal-instrumental works and a detailed introduction to selected compositions in those areas.

Course contents:

Study and conducting of selected compositions at the piano.

W.A. Mozart: Coronation Mass,

J. Haydn: The Creation,

A. Dvořák: Stabat Mater, Requiem,

J. Brahms: German Requiem,

L. Janáček: Glagolitic Mass, The Eternal Gospel

and others.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Analysis and listening to selected compositions. Credit.
