Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to study through form analysis and conducting from the piano a orchestral symphony repertory pieces from all style periods from the pre-Classic to the present.

Course contents:

Study of form through analysis and directing at the piano of a repertoire of selected symphonic orchestra works from all periods from the pre-Classical to the modern.

Recommended or required reading:

Haydn:2 symphonies,

Mozart: 2 symphonies,

Weber:Prelude to an opera,

Beethoven:3rd symphony /except for 3.5.9./,

Schubert:Symfonie h-moll,

Dvořák:Slovanské tance /selection/

Analysis and conducting of selected compositions from the piano. Exam
