Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to study through form analysis and conducting from the piano a orchestral symphony repertory pieces from all style periods from the pre-Classic to the present.

Course contents:

Study of form through analysis and directing at the piano of a repertoire of selected symphonic orchestra works from all periods from the pre-Classical to the modern.

Beethoven: Symphonies in Es-dur a c-moll,

Mendelssohn: 3rd.or 4th. symphonies,

Schumann: 4th.symfonie,

Dvořák: Symfonie No.# 5. or 6, Česká suita, or Scherzo capriccioso, Slavonic.Rapsodie,

Smetana: Švédské básně,

Liszt: Les Preludes
