Learning outcomes of the course unit:

To recognize and have a bearing in the permanent but not completely, repertoire of vocal music of the period.

Mode of study:

Instructor lectures, literature study, discussions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Good bearing in the basic music of the 20th century. Knowledge of individual styles.

Course contents:

Vocal works of the 1st half of the 20th century (Janáček, Martinů,classic music of the 20th century), vocal works of the 2nd half of the 20th century, its style, particulars of vocal music of that period.

Recommended or required reading:

As in the previous semester

Assessment methods and criteria:

Activity in lectures, final interview.
