Learning outcomes of the course unit:

To introduce directing students to theatre operations, the particular environment of opera operations, structure and organization of theatre institutions, accounding functions and financing, preparation and exection of a new staging (focusing on opera performance) and the theatre networks of the CR and abroad.

1. Theatre institutions in the Czech Republic (single and multiple ensemble)

2. Opera theatre

3. Structure and organization of theatre institutions (artistic and non-artistic elements)

4. Financing, Institution budget, performance budget

5. preparations and execution of a new staging (focusing on an opera project)

6. marketing, Theatre institution PR.
