Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Acquisition of experience in piano playing and creative approach to resolving education issues in working with exceptionally gifted ZUŠ and students at conservatories and music gymnasiums.

Mode of study:

contact instruction.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Creation of a study plan for pupils and their systematic instruction. Management of pupils' study documentation.

Preparation for semester concert models and their written assessments, participation in discussions.

Course contents:

- examples for discussed topics in Piano playing Methods lectures.

- independent resolution of issues in instructing students in piano working with models (ZUŠ, conservatories, etc at various levels of advancement).

- preparation of the student instruction model, assessment of their course and discussion

- selection of repertoires for students, constructing a study plan, time planning of materials in the course of a lesson, various types of instruction classes, managment pupils' study documentation

- basic phases of composition development with pupils

- preparing pupils for competitions, concert performances or auditions at conservatories, etc.

Current instruction curriculum of Arts Elementary Schools, conservatories and Music Gymnasiums.
