Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Knowledge of the basic issues in the history and development of instrument construction, development of playing a given instrument. Issues in selecting repertoire and program structure. Use of history, historical and modern audio-video recordings and other programs.

Course contents:

The curriculum originates in the historical progression and study of professional literature, relationship of literature and performance history from the Baroque to the present.
