Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Knowledge of basic issues in the history and development of instrument construction,development of playing and literature for a given instrument. Issues in selecting the repertoire and structure of a program. Use of literature, historical and modern audio and video recordings and other programs.

Course contents:

The curriculum originates in the historical sequence and study of professional literature, relationship of literature and history of performance from the Baroque to the present.
