Mastery of playing with a symphonic orchestra. Instrument and performance management of orchestral compositions. Emphasis is placed on flexibility in managing a composition in the shortest period possible, independent preparation of parts in aspects of bowing, fingering. Introduction to the practical aspect of playing in an orchestra - following the conductor's gestures, collective interpretation thought, tuning and intonation, the role of the concert master and leading groups.
