Choreography students are introduced to stage spaces and are prepared for the nature of professional theatre. This course is linked to Stage Technology 1, developing the covered material, primarily in lighting and sound and the organization of the theatre environment.

- Prerequisites and co-requisites:

A choreography student must have completed a dance conservatory or other dance study school of a similar level. The student must have several years of experience as a dancer in a ballet esemble or other professional dance ensemble. The student must pass the entrance process and have talent, imagination, managerial and organizational skills for performing as a creative choreography.
- Course contents:

Introduction to a real theatre environment with the basic professional concepts regarding a stage space (during challenging stage set construction). This also includes the set lighting and introduction to fundamental technical potential of lighting design. Further visits include the sound room where the soundman outlines the extensive potential of the profession. An additional important part of this course is attendance at stage rehearsals of a prepared ballet where the students are introduced to the course of a rehearsal on stage.
