Contiues study from the previous year. Completion of basic (beginning) level of classical dance instruction (linked to the course "Classical Dance Methodology 1). Advanced method analysis, presentation and assignment of not only individual elements but also examples of the structure of the entire instruction lesson. The principle of joining each instruction with the given physical talent. Establishment of a challenge regime, system of habitual repetition with maximum mental concentration and discipline.

This course is linked to Classical Dance 1 Methodology. It contains a detailled analysis of the elements of Classical Dance Technique of the 2nd year according to the curriculum of an eight year Dance conservatory. The instruction starts with the Agrippina Vaganova system, and additionally introduces students with other instruction systems (ex: Enrico Cecchetti, George Balanchine).
- Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Linked to the study of the previous year. Creation and teaching of sample lessons in classical dance. Systematic and well-thought series of exercises, rules for a system of managing a lesson in the context of the entire school year, sequence, frequency of repetitions and structure of combinations in a lesson as a whole, with firm establishment of a line of connection from one exercise to the next.
- Course contents:

The instruction of all exercises relies on the instruction of education principles in the development of the required physical talent, precisely the administration of a regime of difficulty, system of habitual repetition, maximum mental concentration and understanding of the material for the future dancer. Students learn in detailled and effective explanations, each element and prevent mistakes in execution. The instruction hour structure is linked to the previous semester and supplements, primarily the allegro and sur les pointes exercises.

During the course independent reading, participation in class discussions, which is a condition for credit are required. The exam is written and oral. The overall grading is comprised of 60% for class participation, 20% for the written and 20% for the oral parts of the exam.
