Joining steps in a phrase at the barre: Dance steps are joined into a greater whole and one combination joins multiple steps in one whole. Students create a combination from elemnts of one dance region attempting to recognize pupil errors. These are then explained and corrected. Additional dance movements and steps are added: quick springs (preparations for shaking polka), Vetvičky jumping to a semi-squat with a slid and closing to the original position, swings to bends and from them, Wallachian step in place (with returning legs together, crossing in front and back).
Dance prhases to rest and changes in direction: Dance steps in movement in a space and step phrases are selected from dances which pupils know or which will first be taught. Dance steps and their motifs are covered in various potential directions of movement (circle, diagonal, S, arch). Additionally, students are introduced to movement procedures in so called easier and more difficult directions ( in the direction of dance to the right, opposing direction to the left = the easier direction and to to left, and opposing direction to the right = the more difficult direction). Students are introduced to rhythm preparations for dances with changing measures (Mateníky).
Partner dances and turns in folkdance: Individual turns then in pairs have their pitfalls and therefor the students are introduced to simple helps for this work. Directions examples are given (toes and heels in direction of movement), equal considerations of pairs (depending on the partners hand, hanging from the elbow). The spatial relation of pairs, trios and groups.
Dance repertoire: Šotyš polka, Dupák, Hulán 2/4 and 3/4, Kalamajka with Maděra, Kohut, Podšable (children's variation), Rokycanská, Talián, Jidáš, Sýkorka.
