The course aim is to expand the abilities of students to apply their acquired history and theory knowledge in independent work on a topic range according to the course intentions.

Readings and subsequen analyses of resources regarding the reasearched phenomena. Discussions over concepts and investigation of possibilites for better understanding of those phenomena.

Presumed completion of bachelor's study in Dance research or similar study. The content is linked to Dance Research A 1.
- Course contents:
-
The course syllabus originates in the course content. This is Sources of Stage Dance of the 18th Century, Dance Technique of the Second Half of the 18th Century. Students, independently, work on assigned partial tasks and complete a course paper. In the work they should demonstrate the ability to find source material, classify it, critique and analyse it and also put the results into written form. Their work and conclusions are discussed in mutual discussions and comparison of results. Part of the course is the study of course literature and its analysis.
