Technique basis of the area: Each student learns the dance steps of the areas individually. Precise performance of the steps is in each region different, therefore it is necessary to devote to it great attention. Each dance steps is executed with various space, tempo and rhythm changes. It is possible to come close to the performance of the steps in character with the covered region.
Variations and manners of steps performance: Technically mastered steps are joined into a larger whole which is possble to join and then change. First, simple then more technically challenging steps from some dances. Later students enrich the step basics with their own innovations and skills. Bringing this to dance in pairs is another further step in working with the steps. Pair dance is the basis of folkdance and therefore great attention is given to it. We find here the foundations of partner work and addtional dance techniques.
