Recognition of basic theory works of the past and mainly of the present related to the analysis of music works and music compositions.

Regular (minimum 75%) participation in lessons and active participation in discussions. Development and presentation of a paper analysing a melodic structure. Study of assigned study literature for the final exam.

Concept of Kinetics, basic concepts.

Rhythm. Distance and centric hierarchies. Rhythm notation. Density and momentum.

Meter. Type of meters, their classification.

Tempo

Individualization of time following impulses

Hierarchical levels in arrangment of the kinetic element in a music structure.

Polyrhythm, Polymeters
