Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Theory review of non-verbal communication tools which touch every aspect, the approach to the research of non-verbal phenomena as well as elements of non-verbal communication, and spatial issues. This course detailly covers gestural and mime tools of non-verbal communication, giving a fundamental glimpse into history and theatre. This course covers communication breakdowns. The classes are supplemented with graphic examples and an analysis of video material and other exercises.

Completion of the course in the previous semester.

Course contents:

Teoretická reflexe neverbálních komunikačních prostředků, která postihuje všechny aspekty jak přístup ke zkoumání neverbálních projevů, tak i složky neverbální komunikace, stejně tak otázky prostoru. Rozebírá podrobně gestické i mimické prostředky neverbální komunikace, podává základní vhled do historie i do divadelní obalsti. Zabývá se též poruchami komunikace. Semináře jsou doplňovány o názorné ukázky a o rozbor videomateriálů a dalších praktických cvičení.
