Learning outcomes of the course unit:

In the first year, students are acquainted with the basics of speaking and writing. Students acquire basic communication skills. This knowledged is used in spoken and written presentations in all course classes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Class attendance, development of the final course paper for the main study „Music Management“ and its presentation at the final exam.

Basics of writing and speaking

Basic information about non-verbal communications

Communication forms

styles and genres

The basics of rhetoric

improvement in expository skills in speaking and writing.
