Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Development of individual voice potential of the students, breathing, voice, articuation exercises linked with movment in a space. Awareness of one's on vocal potential.

Mode of study:

Practical exercises, speaking training, voice and space etudes, speaking and variation treatments of various types of texts. Partner feedback. Investigating one's voice potential.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Creativity, sense of rhythm and auditory analysis of a partner's speaking performance, perception of and distinguishing space requirments.

Course contents:

Voice and speaking in a space, mutual reflection upon speaking performance, investigating intonation possibilities based on given impulses and mutual listening with partners.

Assessment methods and criteria:

A criteria for awarding credit is the mastery of the assigned speaking and voice etudes with a personal approach and creativity.

A condition of credit is at least 80% attendance.
