To introduce students to the post-war history of Czeh set-design, its most important stages and most important figures. To acquaint students with methods which are used in creation of the post-modern setting space and so called action set-design of the 2nd half of the 20th century.

Lectures and classes with the presentations of the most important set design works of the second half of the 20th century.
- Zbyněk Kolář, Vladimír Nývlt, Josef Svoboda, Oldřich Šimaček, Josef Ciller, Květoslav Bubeník, Libor Fára, Alena Hoblová, Karel Vaca, Ladislav Vychodil, Luboš Hrůza, Jan Vančura (Class - What is post-modern set design? What principles are used and where is it heading?)
- Jan Dušek, Jaroslav Malina, Miroslav Melena, Jana Zbořilová, Otakar Schindler, Marta Rozskopfová (Class - What is typical action set design? What are its formal and significant indicators, set designer and director collaboration, and the specifics of use of that type of set design like?)
