1. Introduction to basic trade concepts and particulars of the selected study program.
2. Forming and developing student artistic potential.
3. Development of directing practice skills (space, mis-en-scene, actor, performer, the orchestra element, interaction, the rehearsal process, theory preparations, intervention).
4. Perception of teamwork (dramaturgist, set-designer, musician, production manager), acquisition of skills in leading actors and performers. Depersonalization of functions.
5. Developing theory review skills of one's work in production and project conditions.

Lectures, classes, moderated discussions, creativity exercises and one's rehearsal with acting students, working with set-design students and external collaborators.

Creativity, review and communication skills. Sense of teamwork. Good spatial perception. Organization skills.
- Course contents:

The study is based on the concurrent interweaving of theory and practice elements of instruction. Emphasis is placed on an original, creative approach to the study. From alertness of basic concepts such as drama situations and acting in them, plot, motive, topic, situation composition and the time-space handling (mise-en-scena). Then student attention is focused on issues of acting and performance, time and rhythm in theatre, editing and assembly, improvisation and an original concept of theatre. Teamwork with a dramaturgist, set-designer, music director, light designer, choreographer, etc. follows. The entire bachelor's study moves towards the subsequent directing work and its review, and preparation of the concept of master's study.

This course is graded based on assigned creativity tasks and student activity during each semester (50%) and the semester artistic work and its review (50%).
