2. Strengthening muscles and forming the figure.

3. Maintaining physical condition.

4. Acquisition of proper movement habits with regard to acting.

Course contents:

Curriculum:

Basics of movement training

1. Breathing - posture.

2. Natural execution of movement of individual parts of the body.

3. Tempo, rhythm and energy in movement.

4. Concentration and movement visualization.

Syllabus:

Full breath practice while lying on the ground. Concentration on the relationship of breath to tension and relaxation of individual muscles. Basic exercises for individual parts of the body in ground positions with tempo change. Exercises in consolidation, stretching and relaxation of all muscle groups. Balance exercises.

J. Jeřábková: Taneční a pohybová průprava.

A. Ungarová: Pilates - tělo v pohybu.

V. Janda: Funkční svalový test.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Participation in instruction hours (85%) and the final summary paper.
