Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Together with the main subject the student becomes familiar with computer work technology so that this can be used creatively for all graphic theatre proposals. The student gains this experience chiefly in tasks from the discipline of theatre promotion - posters, programs etc. The aim is to assist all programs that the department has available, to manage the technical actions required for professional printing preparation.

Mode of study:

1) Technical treatment of the main semester assignment in the „Set-design“ course.

2) A theatre program or poster for an assigned topic (title).

3) Alternative procedures.

4) Partial glimpse at contemporary technology trends.

Poster and program proposals are part of the semester exhibition in the bachelor's study.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Basic knowledge of PC work.

Course contents:

Curriculum:

1. Assessment of computer work suggestions stemming from the main semester assignment in the Set Design module.

2. Theatre program or poster on a given theme (title).

3. Developing knowledge and skills in computer creative work.

4. Alternative approaches.

5. A look at other programs in addition to graphics.

Draft posters and programs form part of the exam paper work in BA studies.

Syllabus:

Computer graphics can be an important aid for the scenographer when preparing the visualisation of a fine art project for the production, or the preparation of promotional material for a theatre.

Assessment methods and criteria:

In cooperation with the main study instructor, the extent and quality of the assignments are graded.
