Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. Students explain the concept of vividness, theatricality, drama, educational principle - education systems working with drama - the expressive action of an activity.

2. Students understand the theory and practical foundation of the education instruments of drma education (particularly the pedagogical aspect of drama games) and demonstrate that understanding in the solving of theory problems and practical activities.

3. Students use this understanding for practicual use of the personality, social skills and moral actions developing the drama game potential.

Mode of study:

Discussion, evocation experience, practical exercises, communication games and simulations, presentation, observation training and analysis of stage behaviour videos.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Previous instruction in this subject.

Course contents:

1. Theatre, drama education and vividness-theatricality-drama.

2. Vividness and drama as a manifestation of everyday existence.

3. Scenology and Scenological behaviour, social science of performance, drama-social psychology.

4. Vividness/theatricality and drama as educational principles.

5. Practical research into personality development activities from the viewpoint of the application of different types and layers of vividness - theatricality and drama.

6. Educational systems using stage, respectively, theatre drama acting as an educational tool (as the main consideration of drama education).
