Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Prepare students for selecting a theme and its elaboration. Compile a theme proposal and its specifications for guidance by the department and study section.

Mode of study:

Readings, discussions, text analyses, diploma paper defense, trade literature study.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

- Thorough bearing in drama training and related trades issues.

- Study of fundamental professional literature.

- Ability to conceive, form and write a profesional text.

Outline:

- Introduction to a selection of to-date diploma and bachelor works defended at KDV DAMU.

- Theme selection.

- Elaborating the bachelor or diploma work proposal.

Syllabus:

- Criteria for selecting a project for the bachelor work, that being, the master's work theme.

- Work evaluation criteria.

- Professional style.

- Working with subject literature, citations, references.

- Bibliography.

- Lay-out, graphics.

- Work process, supervisor, examiner, defense.
