Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the course is to teach students to work with precise psychological concepts in their own research work. Students are to, at the end of the course, not only be able to explain fundamental psychological concepts and categories but, as well, be able to precisely define the subject of their research.

Students:

- define psychological phenomena, processes, functions based on applied psychological definitions,

- are able to explain paradigms of the most important psychology trends,

- are to have fundamental methodology knowledge, work with the concepts of validity and reliability,

- are competent in the operationalization of changes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of Psychology 1 course.

Course contents:

The course is designed for two semesters.

The aim of the course is to teach students to work with precise pschology concepts in their own research work. Students are to, upon completion of the course, be able to explain fundamental psychology concepts and categories and, as well, be able to precisely define the subject of their research.

- How to work with professional terminology. Definitions and operationalization.

- Methodological views, quantitative and qualitative research, the potential in drama training. Validity and reliability.

- How to construct research.

- Teaching and pschology contexts of experienced teaching.

- Acting as a diagnostic means and treatment.

- Emotion and emotional intelligence, emotion in drama training, in theatre and in life.
