Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Students completing the course acquires an overview of the basics of practice of artistic elements of drama theatre. This overview does not merely cover a study of theory, but individual a group practicals, to which discussions with the instructor and references to appropriate theory literature are linked. The main tool of instruction is, in class, practicals with subsequent reviews or self-critique and analysis in moderated discussion.

Mode of study:

The main hub of the course is practicals which the students perform in groups or individually. From this material for theory critique of the research subject.

Course contents:

The course focuses on acquiring fundamental knowledge and awareness of the practice, particularly of drama theatre. In classes the students are acquainted with acting and directing theory and practice in a space (and with space), and furthermore, is devoted to fundamentals of writing and reading dramas, its construction and potential for interpretation. Part of the course in devoted to the use of acting tools in various drama genres.

The requirement for the award of credit is class attendance, of which a maximum of 2 absences are allowed during the semester, and completion of assignments between classes.
