Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. Introduce students to the basic institutes of privacy laws in relation to the execution of production activities in theatre operations.

2. Introduces students to the appropriate standards of public domain having an impact on theatre operations.

3. Adopting knowledge, skills and abilities so the students are able to comprehend the basic standards of private and civil law and apply them at least to the performance of production in theatre operations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

None.

Course contents:

1. Civil law as a concept, its basic principles and sources, including municipal and regional regulations. The theatre as a building, basics of construction codes.

2. Legislation regarding state monument care and how to interpret that to theatre activities.

3. Culture productions in public spaces, use of public spaces, gathering of public spaces and decisions about them (including hygiene issues, noise, fees, etc.).

4. Subsidies for support of theatre activities from public funds I. (legal framework of providing subsidies, providing subsidies).

5. Subsidies for support of theatre activities from public funds II. (subsidy budgeting, consequences of misuse of subsidies).

6. Management in theatre.

7. Basics of criminal law - principles of criminal responsibility (and legal entities), selected criminal acts.

8. Personal data protection.

9. Providing information according to the law on free access to information.

10. Issueing of public tenders - basic principles and procedures.

11. Trade legislation.

12. Basics of Social security law.
