Contact, attended course.

Course contents:

The course aim is to acquaint students with the issue of the relationship between literature and theatre, respectively issues of the popular dramatization of other, non-theatre writings. The first semester will be devoted to historical issues of how during the 20th century the to date theatre drama monopoly was destroyed and prozaic works came to the stage. The second semester should, from this perspective, reflect on current theatre stagings. Upon agreement, several prozaic or poetry theatre adaptations will be selected, which will students will analyse individually from the perspective of the transformation from one type of art to another.

Part of the course will be not only the requirement to present the working version of the paper but also readings presented by colleagues.
