1. Introduce the basics of theatre theory.
2. Guide students in domestic and foreign theatre issues - theory terminology, primarily the issue of terminology.
3. Introduce the function principles of a theatre piece and its components.

1. Theatre semiotics.
2. Zich Aesthetics terminology of drama arts.
3. Components of a theatre work (visual, acoustic, acting, audience).
4. Components of theatre works (dramaturgy, directing, acting, visual - artistic, acoustic, in particular types of theatre and literature).
5. Comparison of various theory approaches and theatrology concepts focusing on the creation of a theatre work.

Grading and credit is awarded based on a minimum of 80% participation in lectures, which is a condition for sitting the exam. Grading is completed at the end of the lecture cycle by an oral or as the case may be, written exam.
