Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. Introduce students to issues of management and marketing in the arts, primarily in theatre activity including theatre operations.

2. To acquire an orientation in the issues of public service thatre, theatre entrepreneurship and non-profit theatre.

Mode of study:

Presentation, discussion, audio-visual recording and press analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

1. General knowledge of theatre operations.

2. Analytical and review skills.

3. Creativity.

Course contents:

1. Civil society and the non-profit sector.

2. Finanical sources for non-profit organizations, financial direction.

3. Fundraising, fundraising techniques and methods.

4. Public relations of non-profit organizations.

5. Enterprise in culture, Entreprenurial and non-entreprenurial subjects in theatre activity.

6. Production activity, rise and creation of a project, cultural events advising - festivals, events.

7. Marketing in production.

8. Production activities protected by law, copyright.
