Learning outcomes of the course unit:

A screenplay of a short feature film (max. 15 min.). The result of the work in the course directly linked to the department's internal competition, which selects from a collection arising from the work on three screenplays and recommending them for implementation of the exercise sponsored by the school dean. The three selections will then be given their producers from the Production Dept. an implementation designate and an appropriate treatment form. The course prepares students for future screenplay practice.

Intensive participation of the student under the guidance of the lead instructor.

Course contents:

Development of a screenplay for a 15 minute (max) feature film format. An intensive creative course focused on the complete development of the screenplay in a precisely given format and directed towards implementation and collaboration with the Production Dept. and by extension other implementation departments. The course focuses on screenwriting and dramaturgy and a development of material moving towards the film implementation at the school.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit and credit points are awarded based on the completion of the entire course and particular material which is the result of the artistic work.
